Before You Comment

Thanks for thinking about writing a comment on my blog. I’m really interested in hearing what you have to say.

If you use the Comments feature on this blog, your comment will go into a holding queque for approval and later appear on the blog. I can see your email address, but no one else will be able to.

I suggest you remove your name and identifying information from your comment if you are writing about an event in your life or stepfamily. Using first initials often works well. Many people are not famliar with the stepfamily shorthand used on chatboards, so avoid using DH, SD, SS, etc.

Comments may be cited on http://www.thestepfamilylife.com/ website or in materials I produce and write. Identifying information will be removed and your email address will not be shared online or with anyone.

I will try to write back to questions through the blog. We value your opinions and comments, and hope to see a lot of activity on the blog.

And about my advice. I’m just a stepmom who writes. I’m not a shrink, a licensed counselor, a lawyer, a doctor, or anything else official. So take my advice as just that - my opinion - nothing more, nothing less.
